Audible.com This is a subscription based business model. For 14.95 a month (7.49 for the first three months), you get to download one audiobook. For 22.95 a month, you get to download 2 audiobooks. There are also options to buy to books with out the subscription. For example, James Patterson's The 6th Target can be purchased for 27.99. But if you had the subscription, it would only cost $14.95. I was once a subscriber and listen to audiobooks while commuting to work. I canceled because my work commute change to a couple of minutes. I was very happy with the service.
iTunes Store: No subscription, acts more like a book store. Prices range from 2.95 for Dr. Suess books to 49.95 for Harry Potter. The James Patterson books range from 14.95 to 25.95.

There are tons of speakers you can dock your iPod. You can see them at BestBuy, Target, Circuit City, and various other stores. You can also check them out at amazon.com. The cheapest way to hook your iPod up to speakers is to simply plug in some old computers speakers to the head phone port. I personally have the iHome Clock Radio and the iHome Under Cabinet iPod Player.
Running
Nike + iPod With a sensor in your shoe and a receiver on your iPod nano, your run takes on a whole new dimension. See the minutes tick by. Watch the miles unfold. Hear real-time feedback. All to your favorite music — including the one song that always gets you through the home stretch.
Check out the CNBC video on the Nike+ iPod. This is a YouTube video, so it will not show up at work.
Don't worry about buying Nike shoes. Check out this guide to see how to attach the sensor to any shoe.
On TV
If you have a 5th generation iPod you can display the video on a TV. You just need to change a setting on the iPod need, an eighth inch to RCA Cable, and this little hack. Instead of matching the yellow/red/white on the RCA cable to the yellow/red/white on your TV, you need...
Plug the red RCA plug into your TV's yellow RCA jack.
Plug the yellow RCA plug into your TV's white RCA jack.
Plug the white RCA plug into your TV's red RCA jack.
A cassette adapter and the FM Transmitter can be picked up at Target.
Protecting Your Ipod
There are a ton of cases. Just Google iPod case. You can find lots at BestBuy or Target. Online, I like to check amazon.com and the Apple Store. Both are good places to find reviews. Once person asked about water proof cases. Yes you can find those too. Check out otterbox.com and h2oaudio.com.
The Future iPod
Check out the iPhone for a glimse at what the iPod may be like in the future. Apple is very secretive about announcing new products. The buyers guide at macrumors.com does a pretty good job recommending when to buy products. As of June 15, they recommend not buying Nano or the iPod. They say updates are coming soon. I think will we see an updated Nano in the next couple of weeks/months. The iPod may be updated in time for the holiday season.
